Another year has come and gone for me …
Jobs have morphed a little more , leaning towards the work that doesn’t get me punched in the head ( as often )
Major purchases bought this year :
Home, truck, fallout 3
Debt: 0
Things discovered about myself : I like building things, I am not good at building things, 700 days of living without roommates = good thing
Beard: coming along nicely
Hobbies picked up: Camera stuff, cursing at wood, landscaping
I don’t think I am as active in activist things as the people around me, I’m not sure if it is due to apathy or just because my bubble is a little smaller than it was a few years ago, it’s not that I think that the causes are silly, I just think that if I deal with things closer to home then in time other things will sort themselves out.
Coffee is good, a new found revelation for me ….
No major life changes have kicked me in the forks, just subtle things and veer me in marginally new directions…
I miss old friends , and old times… but it is in the same way I miss being a child, nostalgia not grief.. Accepting changes as they come along and being grateful for the things I have in my life that are laden with comfort…
